Care and support career pathway

The majority of the young people at Prior’s Court live within one of our residential homes – many for up to 52 weeks of the year. The residential Autism Practitioner team at Prior’s Court are responsible for supporting the young people within their home and throughout the waking day timetable. This involves teaching them life skills such as preparing meals as well as leisure skills both on site and out in our local community.

  • Team Manager

    Using your experience of autism care, as a Team Manager you are responsible for being a practice lead and for the day-to-day organisation of a team of autism professionals.

    Through role modelling outstanding working practices and providing coaching and mentoring you will support others to deliver excellent outcomes for young people aligned with their individual learning outcomes and development goals.

  • Young People’s Wellbeing Lead

    Young People’s Wellbeing Leads promote outstanding practice and guide Learning and Wellbeing Managers to deliver excellent outcomes for our young people and our teams. As a registered manager for several residential homes across the provision, each Young People’s Wellbeing Lead takes key accountability to ensure that the standards are demonstrated and maintained at the highest level.

  • Head of Young People’s Wellbeing

    As part of the Executive team the Head of Young People’s Wellbeing is responsible for creating and delivering the overall organisational strategy for the delivery of care. In conjunction with other members of the Executive Team, you will drive continuous improvements and implement the Prior Approach model and associated autism tools and techniques across the care provision.

  • Director of Young People’s Wellbeing

    All members of the Executive team are responsible for challenging operational management practices to ensure every young person and team member is being stretched to achieve outcomes beyond our imagination.
