We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011. Since opening, our support teams have grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. THE ROLE We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our nursing team to promote positively and proactively a person-centred caring environment through high standards of professional practice ensuring that each young person’s health, personal, social and emotional needs are met. In conjunction with the Care Management Team, as our new nurse, you will take responsibility for the medical care of our children and young adults; monitoring their health and wellbeing including general nursing duties. You will work to build effective working relationships across the organisation and with external medical professionals specifically the school doctor, hospital based specialists, CAMHS etc and keep abreast of research and development within autism and associated health needs.
