The Autism Practice Co-ordinator is a senior-level administrative and co-ordination role, central to driving forward our autism practice, supporting expert practitioners, and ensuring high-quality training and resources across the organisation.   • Administration — High-level administrative support, meeting co-ordination, minute-taking, action tracking, event planning, and acting as a key point of contact for the department.
  • Project Management Support — Co-ordinating autism practice project schedules, monitoring progress, supporting cross-departmental delivery, and maintaining oversight of budgets and resources.
  • Knowledge & Resource Development — Supporting the creation of autism practice resources and training materials, and working with IT teams to maintain effective internal information systems.
  • TEACCH Training Co-ordination — Planning and delivering structured TEACCH training, liaising with trainers and delegates, and maintaining accurate training pathway records.
  • Research Board Support — Supporting the Prior’s Court Research Board through liaison with internal and external research partners.

Job description

The role of Autism Practice Co-ordinator at Prior's Court

What we are looking for: Candidates should have strong experience in senior administration or coordination, with experience of organising and coordinating training courses and managing multiple workstreams effectively. You should have confident communication skills and a collaborative approach, ideally complemented by experience delivering training or working with autistic learners. You will hold relevant qualifications that demonstrate academic or professional development, including a willingness to complete the 3-Day Structured TEACCHing course, with autism-related training considered an advantage.

Essential skills include managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively and producing high-quality written work while contributing positively within a team. Finally, the role requires strong personal attributes such as the ability to build effective relationships, represent the department with confidence, and bring a proactive, organised, flexible and solutions-focused mindset.
