News & events Young people taking part in Parallel Windsor 2026 Young people from Prior's Court will be taking on challenge events at this year's Parallel Windsor - a "festival of inclusivity" which encourages people of all ages with disabilities to take part in races along the iconic Long Walk. On Sunday, 5 July, 15 young people from Prior's Court are taking part in Parallel Windsor, a series of challenge events designed for people with a range of disabilities. These events include fun runs of varying distances ranging from 100m to 10k and includes a Super Sensory 1k. This will be the fourth year in a row Prior's Court has been a partner of the Parallel Windsor event, after 15 young people took part in 2025, 2024, and 2023. Young people Ronan D, Ewan D, Leonie, Arash, Beniamin, Fredi, Oliver P, Oliver C, Jacob, Owanari, Amar, Imprahim, Jessica, and William S are all set to take part this year. Some have attended the festival before but there are plenty of new faces in this group as well! This year, the group is raising money for our Outdoor Classrooms appeal, which is about creating outdoor spaces at our Main School building for regulation and learning, allowing more autistic young people with complex needs to regularly access education. The team have a combined target of £1,000 and would be so grateful if you would consider donating to this team page. It's a fun community event, and it lets them contribute to fundraising for new facilities that will directly benefit them. This event is a chance for young people from all backgrounds to show support for the charities that enrich their lives. By participating, young people from Prior's Court get the same chance to give back to their community." Manage Cookie Preferences
