News & events 12 young people from Prior’s Court once again take to the Long Walk at Parallel Windsor For the fourth year in a row, young people from Prior’s Court have gone to Parallel Windsor – a ‘festival of inclusivity’ designed for people of all ages and abilities to take part in challenge events. Held on Sunday, 5 July at the iconic Windsor Great Park, Parallel Windsor features a series of challenge events from a 10k race down to 100m. All of the events are held along The Long Walk and allows the young people to experience taking part in a challenge event designed with them in mind while raising money themselves for causes that will directly impact them. This marks the fourth consecutive year that young people have taken part in this event, having taken part in 2025, 2024, and 2023. This year, Leonie, Anton, James, Beniamin, Fredi, Oliver P, Oliver C, Jacob, Amar, William, Imprahim, and Jessica all took part in the 5K race. Everyone did extremely well, finishing the 5K at different times but all completing it! They also had the opportunity to explore the rest of the activities taking place, including climbing walls, sensory-friendly DJ sets, sensory and ability-friendly sports, and plenty of animals to say hello to. A huge congratulations to everyone who participated and a huge thank you to every staff member who supported the young people and raced alongside them. Manage Cookie Preferences
