This is about consistently using and embedding strategies and skills within everything young people do. Our Therapy and Multi-Disciplinary Teams make recommendations and upskill staff to empower them to take responsibility for this level of input. Targeted Input / Tier 2: Therapy and Multi-Disciplinary Teams are responsible for monitoring Targeted and Tier 2 input, but it may be delivered by other staff 1:1 or in groups with the appropriate support. This is to support generalisation of strategies and skills by teaching in a range of environments and with different people. Specialist Input / Tier 3: Therapists and Multi-Disciplinary teams are responsible for implementing and monitoring Specialist and Tier 3 input. This may be to establish new skills or re-assess before making targeted and universal recommendations; or a functional assessment to understand a young person better and propose ways to improve support.
