Young people at Prior's Ciurt have been taught basic baking recipes during Catering & Hospitality vocational learning sessions. This also supports learning around daily living skills as part of our holistic approach to supporting our young people to be more independent. The routine processes of baking - such as measuring and working the ingredients - suit the learning styles and needs of autistic people.

From these sessions, we have produced simple 'follow-along' recipe videos which we have called "Baking with...". The aim is that parents of our young people can try these making these recipes during visits home or parents of autistic young people with complex needs who do not attend Prior's Court can give them a go.

This page will be updated regularly with new "Baking with..." recipe videos.
