There is now just over four weeks to go until a team of wonderful Prior’s Court-supporting runners take part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon.

Our team of eight have been working tirelessly over the last couple of months with their training and fundraising in aid of Prior’s Court, with many choosing to raise funds for our Let Me Shine Performing Arts Centre, a bespoke space in which our young people can access the performing arts and enrich their learning experiences.

Our runners - Jenny Peacock, Chris Sturm, Joshua Lepetit, Kaitlin Lawrence, Tomson Chauke, Claudine Osso, Jack Clark, and Jo Lovelock - have so far between them managed to raise close to a whopping £3,000, but with your help they can grow that number even more to help even more young people with autism.

This is our first year of taking part and the race just happens to fall on World Autism Acceptance Day, a fact which many of our runners have said has inspired them even more to keep training and work harder.

Cheer on our runners on the day

If you would like to support our team of runners at the event, you can join with members of our Fundraising and Marketing teams at Great Tower Street and Byward Street (our location on what3words can be found here)

We have specifically chosen a quieter area should young people from Prior's Court and their families wish to come along and also cheer on runners. The quieter area was chosen to be more suitable for our young people who may need to exit the area quickly.

If you have any questions about coming to the cheer station, or bringing young people along, please get in touch with Aimée Hoyle, Fundraising Officer, on 01635 247202 or email [email protected]
