A generous fundraiser is putting her best foot forward and running a 10k race in aid of Prior's Court after seeing the amazing work we do.

Evie Merry, who is from Oxfordshire, is taking on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k on Sunday, 3rd March in aid of raising money for our bespoke Performing Arts Centre.

Evie is supporting Prior’s Court as she was inspired by the work we do after visiting the site in November as part of a company volunteering day. Evie works for Karcher UK, and her and a group of her colleagues from Karcher deep cleaned one of the homes on site in preparation for it to be re-opened. This will allow us to support additional young people and provide them with an environment in which they can thrive.

Evie said, “My training has been successful and I feel like I am ready to take on this challenge as one of my goals for 2024!

“I chose Prior's Court as in November last year as they have such a lovely community of people and staff working for them doing such an amazing job. I want to say thank you to Natalie for supporting me from the beginning from when I decided I wanted to take this challenge on.”

Evie would like to raise £500 for a bespoke Performing Arts Centre, which will feature adapted facilities to support the young people at Prior’s Court to access opportunities in music, dance and drama and the life-enriching benefits these provide.
