People from across West Berkshire descended on Prior’s Court for a day of community volunteering.

Our gates were thrown open to the public on Tuesday, 22 August for members of the community to get their hands dirty with some volunteering, while also learning more about our work with young people with complex autism.

During the three hours on-site, the volunteer visitors undertook tasks around our on-site Orchard.

The group also had a tour of the charity’s 52-acre site to learn more about our work supporting young people with complex autism.

Natalie Norris, Prior’s Court Fundraising Manager, said:

It was great to be able to welcome people to our site to learn more about Prior’s Court, as well as getting stuck in with some volunteering. We had a wonderful group of visitors who were so keen to make a difference and learn more about our amazing young people and the incredible work our staffing teams do.
