The compassion, dedication and expertise of the Prior’s Court staffing teams has been celebrated at the second staging of an awards evening.

The second Spirit of Prior’s Court Awards was held on the evening of Friday, 16 February, to celebrate the incredible achievements that our staff make happen for young people at Prior’s Court every day. 

Around 150 staff members enjoyed an evening of food, games and prize-giving at Newbury Racecourse in an awards night all about celebrating the hard work, dedication and achievements of the wonderful individuals and teams from across Prior’s Court, in their work with young people with complex autism.

All winners apart from the Annual Living the Values Award and the Dame Stephanie Shirley Award were chosen after a nomination period in which Prior’s Court staff put forward their peers with some hugely impactful citations about how colleagues were making such a difference at Prior’s Court.

Kate Lefever, our Director of People, said:

We know we have some incredible people working at Prior’s Court doing truly incredible things but this whole awards process has really made this oh so clear. There were so many nominations put forward and reading through all nearly 300 of them was truly inspiring. This event could not have happened without the support of the 15 organisations which donated sponsorship, prizes, or their time, or without the organising committee so a huge thank you to them for creating what was a special night for everyone involved. I’d like to add a huge thank you to all of the staff members who were working “back at base” on the night, providing outstanding support for the young people at Prior's Court.
