As Prior's Court is a residential special school, young people here need to be able to get out and be a part of their local community - and to be empowered to access the same kinds of experiences other young people their age enjoy.

Recently, Kayleigh was supported to go bowling for the first time while she has been at Prior's Court.

Kayleigh travelled to Hollywood Bowl in Basingstoke where she had a great time bowling, playing in the arcade at the venue, having lunch and using her own pocket money to buy herself a drink.

A specific social story was prepared for Kayleigh ahead of the trip, to help support her in what is a busy and noisy environment. She was also supported with choice-making around what drink and lunch option she wanted.

Congratulations to Kayleigh on this successful trip and the team from Winter House for supporting her.
