The first group of visitors from our Charity of the Year partners Charles Hunter Associates have paid a visit to take on some volunteer work at our beautiful 50-acre site.

For each month in 2024, a group from the company will be undertaking some work around our site.

The January visit involved the group of six getting to work in our therapy paddock which is part of our Countryside Learning Centre. 

The team took up old weed matting in the area. This will allow the facility to be more manageable from a grounds perspective. This in turn will empower young people at Prior's Court to learn new skills as they manage the upkeep of the area as part of their land-based learning.

By working in the Countryside Learning Centre, the group got to meet our range of farm animals on-site too, as well as see how staff members support young people with complex autism to access learning in the area.
