From London to Essex on two wheels all in aid of autistic young people with complex needs - that was the challenge for one of our latest fundraisers from one of our corporate supporters.

On Sunday, 26 May, Wilson JR Remot completed the Ford RideLondon 100 miles event having entered after being inspired by our work on a corporate volunteering day visit with his employer Visa.

In his own words, Wilson wanted to do this challenge because

Prior’s Court, a remarkable charity, provides education and residential care for young people aged 5-25 with complex autism. Their commitment to making a difference has truly touched and amazed me. Specifically, they are currently fundraising to build a Performing Arts Centre that will transform the lives of these young individuals.

And while Wilson said he was disappointed to miss out on his six-hour completion target (he came home in 6hrs 12mins), just as importantly, he has gone past his £500 fundraising target in support of our Performing Arts Centre appeal and is still taking donations.
