Sarah Butcher MBE, our Director of Young People’s Wellbeing, will be departing Prior’s Court in October after 24 years with us.

Sarah, who joined Prior’s Court in 1999, will be taking up the role of Chief Executive Officer at Autism at Kingwood which provides supported living services for autistic people across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Both charities, Prior’s Court and Autism at Kingwood, were founded by Dame Stephanie Shirley CH.

Sarah, pictured, said: “It has been the greatest honour of my life working for Prior’s Court and shaping this organisation over the past 24 years and working with some truly remarkable young people who have passed through our doors and their equally remarkable families, and incredible staff members.

“I have every confidence that I am leaving Prior’s Court in a strong position with the Creating our Future project beginning to bear positive outcomes and with a new CEO at the helm.”

Ryan Campbell, Prior’s Court Chief Executive Officer, said: “Sarah Butcher has been instrumental in getting Prior’s Court to where it is today and it is impossible to express the gratitude so many people will have for her work here since 1999.

“It is fantastic to hear that Sarah is remaining in the autism sector and putting to use her incredible amount of knowledge and experience to help other autistic people and their families, we will look forward to working alongside her in this capacity in the future.”
