We recognise that working on our Graduate Programme can pose difficulties:

  • Working with young people with complex needs can be challenging.
  • As our programme involves movement around different departments of the organisation, there is regular change to your work pattern.
  • Joining us may involve moving to a new part of the country in which to live.

To ensure you feel fully supported and can get the most from your time with us, we have a number of tools in place to support you:

  • Regular 1:1s with our dedicated Graduate Programme Coordinator
  • On-the-job observation and feedback from the line manager in each placement
  • A structured performance review process
  • Comprehensive training in physical intervention and proactive support strategies
  • Regular team-building days with your fellow graduates
  • Mentoring sessions
  • A 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme for advice, information and support.
