ABOUT PRIOR'S COURT

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 80 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

We offer a range of specialist services within a residential children’s home, school and adult provision to support children and young people severely challenged by their autism. 

THE ROLE

This is a unique opportunity to join our Leadership Team at Prior’s Court Foundation reporting directly to the Director of Care.

This role will contribute to the management of the well-being and safety of our young people and staff. You will be dynamic, have strength of character and be committed to our cause. 

Key areas of responsibility will be:

To work as an effective team member whilst providing direction and support; enabling the Executive, Leadership and Management teams across the Foundation, School and Young Adult Provision to achieve excellence in their professional areas of expertise.

You will lead the organisation in improving practice in statutory regulation and compliance by maintaining a care quality assurance system that spans the Children’s Home, Young Adult Provision and all aspects of care delivered by Prior’s Court, including target setting and establishing standards which reflect agreed good practice.

Whilst this is a one year fixed term contract in the first instance to cover for the secondment to another role of the current Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager, there may be opportunities for this to be extended.
