We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011. We offer a range of specialist services within a residential children’s home, school and adult provision to support children and young people severely challenged by their autism. The role of Plumber at Prior's Court An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates team at Prior’s Court to support the school as a Qualified Plumber. The responsibilities are varied and would provide the opportunity to work across a commercial and domestic setting. To carry out all plumbing repairs and in-house plumbing projects to a high level and standard, conforming to the current Gas safe, Oftec and British standard Regulations. Working to an agreed programme of rolling upgrades for domestic and commercial plant across the Estate, liaising with the Estates Manager, to ensure all condition reports are provided. Liaising with various M&E contractors to ensure works are completed in agreed timelines. This position will also include supporting the rest of the team across the estate so it is important that you enjoy a varied workload. This position is a 38 hour working week across two shift patterns (see below) and would include supporting the Estates Supervisor with 24/7 on call cover and coordination within the team/contractors. Hours are 6am-4pm over the following two shift patterns: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Experience of plumbing, contractor management experience and plumbing qualifications.
