The introduction of the ASDAN Award scheme in 2005 provided a system of formal recognition and accreditation for the students’ development and achievements. The scheme offers a framework of activities through which personal, social and independence skills can be developed with modules which can be used separately and accumulated to build a record of personal achievement.
