ABOUT PRIOR'S COURT

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. We are situated on 50 acres of parkland with various facilities including accommodation for our young people, a school with a wide range of facilities and offices.

THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Internal Quality Assessor to be the Lead Internal Quality Assessor, contact for the awarding body and lead for all associated processes.

  • As part of your role, you will deliver the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
  • You will ensure that 100% of employees gain their diploma within 12 months and before 24 months of employment.
  • As an Internal Quality Assessor, you will support a team of assessors to ensure that learner progress is on target.
  • Manage your own caseload of learners through to qualification.
  • Plan workshops and allocate learners to achieve leaner progress.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure qualification targets are achieved.
  • Produce and present regular reports on activities for Management and Leadership Teams.
  • Maintain CPD and occupational competency records for our team of Assessors.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Internal Quality Assurance award (D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4) or equivalent. ·
  • Assessors award (CAVA / TAQA / A1) or equivalent. ·
  • Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 (or above) or equivalent.
