ABOUT PRIOR'S COURT

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 80 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

We offer a range of specialist services within a residential children’s home, school and adult provision to support children and young people severely challenged by their autism. 

THE ROLE

As HR Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • To respond to basic employee queries.
  • To manage the production of changes to terms and conditions letters, issuing to the employee and maintaining copies on file.
  • To update and maintain core employee data within the Carval HR system.
  • To monitor and check the DBS process for staff, including maintaining the Single Central Database. Ensuring that all staff DBS checks are maintained within policy guidelines.
  • Supporting work permits applications/ visas for existing members of staff.
  • To take notes/minutes within meetings.
  • To host exit interviews with leavers and report on responses via survey monkey.
