Apply now Apply now About Prior's Court Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011. Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. We are situated on 50 acres of parkland with various facilities including accommodation for our young people, a school with a wide range of facilities and offices. The role of Fundraising Assistant You will be joining Prior’s Court at an exciting time and will have the opportunity to play a crucial part in the launch of a large capital fundraising appeal. We are looking for a proactive and professional fundraiser to help build our community of supporters and volunteers, acting as first point of call for all enquiries and ensuring they receive the best possible experience. You will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with our successful corporate volunteering programme, and be happy talking to visiting groups about the charity and its impact on the lives of young people with complex autism. You will help the Trusts and Foundations Manager with funding applications and have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of small grants, and will take the lead on managing relationships with local community groups. Maintaining and updating our supporter database (donorflex) will be an important part of the role so strong administration/finance skills and working knowledge of CRM systems, preferably in the charity sector, is essential.
