Tomson Chauke is an Autism Practitioner at Prior's Court, with a passion for transforming the lives of young people with complex autism.

For over a decade now, Tomson has been creating and performing music with the young people he works with at Prior's Court: "At first, I thought I was simply teaching them, but I soon realised we were all learning from each other.

"Everyone involved quickly understood the new opportunities these sessions presented for the students to interact, develop autonomy and self-confidence. What began with joint hand drumming workshops soon developed into further instrumental experiences and the formation of the school’s first-ever student band."

This led directly to the creation of Prior's Court own on-site music festival, Let Me Shine, and the recording of our song, also called Let Me Shine.
