Help improve young people's lives Ways you can help Fundraising Events Carols for Complex Autism Join us on the 6th December to welcome in the festive period with an evening of Christmas Carols at The Old Mill, Aldermaston. Enjoy a welcome drink of mulled wine and a mince pie, then enjoy listening to singers from the Reading Phoenix Choir fill the air with the sound of Christmas carols in the beautiful riverside setting of The Old Mill. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit young people with complex autism to live happier and more independent lives, through our Performing Arts Centre fundraising appeal. On the night there will be a festive raffle, a Christmas present wrapping service (subject to availability), the opportunity to purchase some Prior’s Court bakery mince pies made by the young people at Prior’s Court, and more. Wednesday 6th December, The Old Mill, Aldermaston, 7pm, £10 adult, £5 children. Book now Christmas present wrapping: On the night we will have our Christmas elves available to offer a present wrapping service – bring your unwrapped presents and leave with beautifully wrapped gifts ready for Christmas, all for just a donation. If you would like your presents wrapped, please book using this form. Our Christmas elves will then be in touch a couple of weeks before the event to confirm how many presents you would like to be wrapped. Suggested donation amount is £1 per present, pre-booking via the form required. Presents will be wrapped in recyclable paper, with a variety of colours and finishes available. Answers to FAQ The dress code for the evening is smart casual – festive attire is very much welcome. The event will run from 7pm – 9pm, and the bar will be open throughout. It is a family-friendly evening, but please note any children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. There is open water at the Old Mill so in particular supervision of children is strongly recommended when outdoors in the grounds. Prior’s Court nor The Old Mill will be held responsible for any accident or injury that occurs due to children being left unsupervised. There is ample free parking on site, cars are left at their own risk and cannot be left overnight. If you purchased your ticket online, you will be sent a digital ticket ahead of the event itself. Please bring this with you (on your phone will be fine). If you purchased your tickets in person, please bring the physical ticket with you. Cash/Card will be accepted on the night. Reading Phoenix Choir A group from Reading Phoenix Choir will be providing the entertainment for the evening with festive carols. Through their passion for the music and the joy of acapella singing, the choir takes great pride in delivering highly memorable concert performances for their audiences.
