Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 80 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

We offer a range of specialist services within a residential children’s home, school and adult provision to support children and young people severely challenged by their autism. Prior’s Court Bakery is a unique new service: a commercial bakery committed to supporting work skills development for people with autism.

As the Artisan Bakery Manager you will lead this development ensuring that that the bakery provides healthy, tasty, interesting premium breads and other products that are organic with locally sourced suppliers providing good sustainability.  You will work collaboratively to create and offer work-based learning and employment opportunities for people with autism within the bakery.

Our thorough training and induction programme will ensure you have the support, skills and tools you need to deliver quality care for each young person.
