If you would like to discuss whether Prior’s Court School or Young Adult Provision may be suitable for a prospective young person, please get in touch with our Admissions Manager who can advise according to the young person's specific needs. You can also arrange a visit on one of our open mornings.

Open Mornings

Our Open Mornings are a chance for parents and other visitors to take a look around our provision, view the facilities, meet staff and find out about available places and the admissions procedure. To minimise disruption to the young people we support, we limit the numbers on each open morning and therefore ask that anyone who would like to visit book a place using the details below.

We regret that we cannot accommodate children on these visits. A maximum of four visitors can be booked for each event.

Admissions procedure 

With the support of the placement authority, a pre-placement assessment will be undertaken, following which our admission panel will make a decision about the suitability of the placement. If successful a carefully planned transition is undertaken with parents/carers fully involved.

  1. Read through the information on our website to see if Prior's Court might be suitable for your child.
  2. Contact Prior's Court's Admissions Manager using the enquiry form or the Admissions Team contact details above. They can answer any questions you may have about our provision.
  3. Contact your local authority to discuss your preference.
  4. Arrange a visit as described above.
  5. The Admissions Manager will then guide you through the rest of the process to establish whether or not Prior's Court is suitable for your child and advise of next steps.

Oversubscription criteria

When capacity is reached, we do not have the flexibility to accommodate any oversubscription. Local authorities and parents/carers can request that Prior's Court advises of any change to the availability of places.
