Alison has over twenty years’ experience in IT Services Business and Programme management. Her early career was with Tesco PLC, followed by Rolls-Royce PLC where she held the senior management position of Site Head of Systems and Computing. In 1993 Alison joined Xansa PLC (formerly FI Group, the business founded by Dame Stephanie Shirley) ultimately being promoted to Global Account Manager and then General Manager responsible for some of Xansa’s largest clients. She left Xansa in 2003 to concentrate on raising her family. From 2007 until 2010 she was Chair of the Board of Directors of the Hospice Lottery Partnership. Alison joined the Board of Prior’s Court in 2008 and in 2009 she was appointed Chair of the Board. However in 2010 she had to step down due to health problems. She was then appointed for a second term as Chair in 2014. From 2012 until 2016 Alison was a trustee of the Luton Culture Trust and in 2012 she also became a trustee of the Dacorum District Citizens Advice.
