Are you looking to enhance or start a fulfilling career in care? At Prior's Court we celebrate the achievements of our young people every day and our Autism Practitioners are vital to these achievements. So we're inviting you to come along to our interactive careers open evening on Thursday 14th June to experience what life at Prior’s Court is like through the eyes of our young people.

Staff and student at PC festival 2018Due to expansion, we’re recruiting practitioners who can support young people affected by autism and complex learning difficulties. Your background isn't important as we're recruiting trainee positions as well as experienced so if you are patient, caring and want a fulfilling career supporting young people with severe autism then come join our careers open day with a difference.

Not only can you find out about the roles available, but you’ll gain a unique insight into the daily lives of Prior’s Court students. You’ll experience our specialist approach which enables our young people severely challenged by their autism to make sense of the world around them, and support them through their life.

Priors Court student with staff at tuck shopThe open evening takes place at our beautiful grounds near Hermitage between 4pm and 7pm. There is parking on site.

Each fully interactive session will run in small groups of about 45 minutes, with candidates following schedules to guide them through the day in the same way that our young people would. The sessions will feature communication exchanges, sensory processing, training techniques – and most importantly you’ll see the amazing progress our young people make with the help of our practitioners.

Then – if you think you’d like to be a part of that amazing progress – you can chat to the recruitment team and submit an application.

We offer free training and qualifications, a competitive salary, flexible shift options, full and part time vacancies, great benefits and a fulfilling career. Our aim is to make all of our Autism Practitioners specialists in supporting young people with severe autism and many of those who start as Autism Practitioners progress to more senior roles.

We are recruiting both trainees and experienced practitioners, and will provide a comprehensive training programme – so no matter what your background or qualifications are, if you care about young people with severe autism and would like to help us change lives then we would love to hear from you.
