We never expected him to hold down any form of job. To hear him talk with such pride and excitement about his work… is truly a gift. While we are realistic enough to know that he will always need constant support, to know he can be of value to an employer is way beyond our wildest expectations.

Prior’s Court Parent

For parents of young people with severe autism, work is not something they imagined possible for their child. That is until now.

Young person learning to bake with Steve Fudge, Master BakerWith your help, we are planning to build, equip and staff a state-of-the-art Artisan Bakery to provide vocational training and employment opportunities for both the young people we support at Prior’s Court and those with autism in our local community.

Working alongside professionals from the Baking and Food Industries we have created a truly unique and highly structured autism friendly bakery learning programme that will lead to real employment opportunities for our young people.
