Autism conferences
Annual conferences are held at Prior's Court for all with an interest in autism.
The fourth Prior's Court conference in the Dame Stephanie Lecture series took place on October 25th 2011. This conference theme was "Transitions in Autism". Audio recordings from some of the presentations can be found on Prior's Court YouTube channel.
Exploring successful transitions from child to adulthood and into work, through puberty and coping with sexuality, mental health and OCD. Renowned researchers and experts came together for a one day conference to explore some of the key transitions for young people with autism.
Speakers Professor Pat Howlin, Professor Gary Mesibov, Ros Blackburn, Dr Cathy Tissot, Dr Tim Williams followed an opening address by Dame Stephanie Shirley.
